A one cup coffee maker, also called pod coffee maker, uses packed coffee grounds to brew 1 or 2 servings of coffee at a time. Some of the best single cup coffee machines are Keurig, Melitta and Philips Senseo.



A. Keurig markets several single cup models:
1. The Elite B40 has a 7.25 and a 9.25 oz brew size. It has a 48 oz removable water reservoir, removable drip tray and an automatic shut off function. Price is about $150.
2. The Special Edition B60 costs about $130-150. It features 3 brew sizes: 5.25, 7.25 and 9.25 oz. Other features include a programmable LCD message center, removable 48 oz water reservoir and a removable drip tray.
3. The Platinum B70 has 4 brew sizes and a removable 60 oz capacity water reservoir. Price is about $200.
4. The B100 costs about $250. It has a 7.25 oz brew size and a 64 Oz water tank.

B. The Melitta One:One coffee maker brews directly into your cup. You get a fresh cup of coffee in less than a minute. Price is about $25-60. Features include:
1. Two brew sizes: 5 oz and 8 oz
2. 28 ounce water tank
3. Choose a different blend for each cup you brew
4. You can brew coffee or tea

C. The Senseo Supreme Single Serve coffee maker costs about $100-130. This one cup coffee maker is available in five colors. Features include:
1. Multiple serving sizes up to 10 ounces
2. Removable 32 ounce water reservoir
3. Adjustable spout for different mug sizes
4. Water level indicator light
5. Dishwasher safe parts

The Senseo coffee machine uses pre measured coffee pods. A great selection of pods is available in many coffee types. The machine comes with two pod holders: a shallow holder for one cup and a larger holder that can hold two pods for an 8 oz cup.

D. The original Philip's Senseo coffee machine brews a cup of gourmet coffee with the touch of a button. It has an automatic shut off after one hour. Removable parts are dishwasher safe. Regular price is about $70.

F. The Black & Decker Brew N Go model costs about $20. It comes with a thermal mug that has a comfortable grip handle. It also has a permanent filter and an automatic shut off.
