Mr Coffee Makers

Mr Coffee makers were the first automatic drip coffee makers introduced in 1972. Since then, many improvements and features have been added.



Mr Coffee has become well known when in 1974 the baseball player Joe DiMaggio advertised the company's coffee makers.

Mr Coffee AT13 Single Serve Machine can brew up to a 14 oz cup coffee using Folgers and Millstone coffee pods. It can also use Lipton tea pods to make tea. Specialty pods can be used to brew cappuccino and other drinks.The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning. Price is about $90-112.

Mr Coffee NLX5 4 Cup Coffee Maker has a pause and serve feature, which lets you have a cup of coffee before all coffee is brewed. The filter insert is removable for easy cleaning. The warming plate is stain resistant. An automatic timer shuts off the machine after 2 hours. Price is about $30.

Before you use the coffee maker the first time, wash the decanter and the removable filter basket with mild detergent.

Brewing instructions:
1. Insert a 4 cup paper or permanent filter into the removable filter basket.
2. Add the desired amount of coffee according to the coffee measurement chart.
3. Fill the decanter with cold water to the desired capacity. Water level markings are on the side of the decanter (1 cup=5oz). To brew 4 cups of coffee, fill the decanter to the 4 cup line.
4. Pour the water into the water reservoir. Place the empty decanter on the warming plate.
5. Turn the switch to the on position.
