Lavazza Espresso Machines

Lavazza espresso machines and Lavazza coffee are very popular in Italy. Lavazza has over 100 years of coffee roasting experience.

The company uses the Lavazza espresso point system. Prepackaged, sealed cartridges are available in five blends. These cartridges eliminate espresso grinding, preparing dosage and brewing. Buttons on the front panel include three preset doses for different espresso strength. A built in steam spout is used for frothing milk. List price for the machine is about $1400. Rebuilt models are available for about $600.

Cartridges come in a case containing 50 bags. Each vacuum sealed bag contains two single use cartridges. Price is about $50 for a case. The following blends are available:
1. Aroma Club is a blend of 100% Arabica coffee.
2. Aroma Point is a creamy blend of coffee from Brazil and Central America combined with sweet Indonesian Robusta coffee.
3. Aroma Point Blue is a coffee blend intended for 8 oz. cups.
4. Crema & Aroma is a coffee blend of Arabicas and Robustas to provide a strong base for cappuccinos and lattes.
5. Decaffeinated 100% Arabica is prepared from 100% Arabica varieties.
