Quality Krups Espresso Machine
Krups was started in 1846 manufacturing mainly scales. In 1983 Krups
introduced the Krups espresso machine. Krups had started to sell coffee appliances in 1956
and later household appliances. In 1994 Krups introduced an espresso system using Nestle pods.
The Krups XP4050 Pump Espresso Machine is a 15 bar pump model that can be programmed to make
espresso, cappuccino and latte. It provides correct temperature and pressure for excellent espresso
extraction. It has a removable stainless steel drip tray and a 32 oz. removable water tank.
The filter holder has 3 interchangeable inserts to hold a single, double or an E.S.E. pod. Price
is about $400.
The Krups XP 2010 is a combination machine for espresso and coffee. Price is about $250. Features include:
1. Controls switch easily from brewing espresso to frothing milk
2. Heavyweight portafilter for both ground and pre-portioned pods
3. 10 cup glass carafe
4. Cup warming tray
