Irish Coffee Recipes

Irish coffee is made with hot coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar and topped with whipped cream. There are many variations of the basic recipe available:

1. Use a mixer to beat 1/2 cup of cream with one tablespoon of sugar until it is thick. Then combine:
3 cups of strong hot coffee
1/2 cup of Irish whiskey
1/2 tablespoon sugar
Pour into mugs and top with the whipped cream. It should make 4 cups.

2. To prepare one cup coffee quickly, combine:
1-2 teaspoons sugar
2/3 cup hot coffee
2 tablespoons Irish whiskey
Top with whipped cream.

3. Combine:
1 shot Irish whiskey and
1 teaspoon sugar in tall glass
Then add 1 cup strong, hot coffee and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with grated chocolate, if desired.
