Use Espresso to mix
other Coffee Drinks

Espresso is an Italian name for a coffee beverage. It is made when hot water is pushed with pressure through fine ground coffee. It is thicker than regular drip coffee and is served in smaller sizes, usually in small cups. The cups are the size of about a shot glass.

Some coffee drinkers prefer a small cup of strong coffee instead of one or two regular cups of coffee to get the same amount of caffeine. Also, because it is a highly concentrated coffee, it can be mixed to make other coffee types like latte, cappuccino and mocha. If properly brewed, it has a brown foam floating on top.

It is a very popular type of coffee in Argentina, Cuba, Italy, Spain and Australia. With the growth of Starbucks, it has become more popular in North America. Starbucks has created many variations by adding syrups, whipped cream and other spices.

Various types of machines are available to produce espresso. To use these machines is an art and not as easy to learn as making regular coffee.
