Cuisinart Coffee Maker Water
Filter improves the Coffee Taste

The quality of water is important. The Cuisinart coffee maker water filter is a charcoal filter that removes chlorine, bad tastes and odors. It provides a clean cup of coffee every time.

Cuisinart recommends to change the water filter every 60 days or 60 uses. One pack of 2 filters costs about $10. A 6 pack of 2 filters costs about $35.

To install the water filter, Cuisinart suggests the following procedure:
1. Remove the filter from the bag and soak it in cold tap water for 15 minutes.
2. Lift the water filter holder from the tank area with your thumb and forefinger.
3. With one hand hold the stem. With the other hand press down and pull up.
4. Place the filter carefully in the holder.
5. Run cold tap water over the filter for 10 seconds and then let the filter drain.
