The Cuisinart 4 cup coffee maker is a stylish, compact machine with practical features. It is small enough to keep it on your counter. Features include:
1. Four cup stainless steel carafe with a dripless spout
2. Brew and pause lets you have a cup of coffee before brewing is finished
3. Automatic 30 minute shut off
4. "On" indicator light
5. Limited 3 year warranty

Cleaning the coffee maker:
1. Turn off the machine and unplug the cord.
2. Remove and discard the paper filter and ground coffee.
3. The filter basket can be washed in warm soapy water.
4. Wipe the area under the filter basket with a damp cloth.
5. Wash the carafe and lid in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
6. Wipe the base and warming plate with a damp cloth.
7. Do not use rough cleaners to clean parts.

Cuisinart suggests to use 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of medium fine ground coffee per cup. Use more or less to suit your taste.

Replacement parts are available. You can buy a stainless steel 4 cup carafe in black or white for about $12. A permanent gold tone filter costs about $8.
