Enjoy a fresh
Cup of Coffee Latte

Latte is the Italian word for milk. Coffee latte is prepared with hot milk. In general, latte is prepared using one third espresso and two thirds steamed milk.

Latte has more milk than a cappuccino and a milder taste. It has become popular in the United States. It is often flavored with syrup.

Recipe
You need:
  • 1 1/4 cup of espresso grind or regular grind dark roast coffee
  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
  • 6 cups of water
  • 2 1/2 cups milk or skim milk for lower calories
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons of sweetener like Equal
  • ground cinnamon or nutmeg

Put ground coffee and the pieces of cinnamon stick into a drip coffee maker. Brew coffee with the 6 cups of water. Stir sweetener into coffee. Pour into 8 cups.

Heat milk in small saucepan or microwave and then blend half of the steaming milk in a blender until foamy. Pour milk into four cups of coffee. Repeat this with the remaining milk and coffee. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
