Choose from a
Variety of Coffee Grinders

Several types of coffee grinders are available to grind the coffee beans yourself. Freshly ground beans will give you a better tasting coffee. Ground coffee loses its aroma fast. With your own grinder, you only grind as much as you need.

There are two types available: burr and blade grinders. Blade grinders are the least expensive ones. They use a blade to cut up the beans. The fineness of the ground depends on how long you grind. These types produce grounds best suitable for drip coffee makers.

Burr grinders use a grinding wheel to crush the beans. They produce a more consistent grind than blade grinders. They are better suited for espresso machines.

A special type of a burr model is the conical burr grinder. These conical types keep the most aroma and generally grind very fine and very consistent. They can produce ground coffee for any coffee maker.

Conical burr grinders are the most expensive ones. Price range is about $90-140. Wheel burr types cost about $35-60. Blade types cost about $20-25.
