Paper Coffee
Filters or reusable Filters

Paper coffee filters are the most widely used filters. There are reusable filters available that do not effect the coffee taste.

Melitta Paper Filters
Paper filters are easy to use and don't require a clean up. They might leave a slight paper taste. Price for 100 extra strength cone filters is about $13. These should fit Melitta, Krups, Braun and other coffee makers that use a No. 2 size filter cone.

Bunn Paper Filters fit all 8 and 10 cup coffee brewers. Filters are made of special paper to preserve the coffee flavor. 100 filters cost about $12.75.

Swiss Gold Filters
These are quality filters coated with 23 karat gold. They are expensive but last a long time and will not effect the coffee taste. Price is about $18 for a No. 2 filter and about $21 for a No. 4 filter.

Braun Universal Gold Screen Filters
They are reusable and fit all No. 4 cone coffee makers. They last a long time and are dishwasher safe. Price is about $10.

Krups Gold Tone Filters fit 10 and 12 cup coffee maker models. They preserve the coffee flavor. Price is about $13.

Cloth Coffee Filters
They are made from cotton and are available in the same size as paper filters. After use just rinse them out. Price is about $4.25.
