Chocolate Flavored Coffee

There are many types of flavored coffees available. Chocolate flavored coffee is one of the more common types. Flavored coffee can be made from whole flavored beans or from ground coffee that has flavor added.

Folgers Chocolate Silk ground coffee is a combination of chocolate flavor and coffee. Price is about $5 for 11.5 oz. canister.

Folgers Gourmet Selection in a 12 oz. bag costs about $6.30.

To get the best flavor:

• Use cold, fresh water for brewing.
• Finish the brewing before using any brewed coffee, because the coffee is diluted at the end of brewing.
• Drink coffee soon after brewing. It should not be reheated.
• It keeps its flavor better if stored in the refrigerator with the lid closed. In general, ground coffee that has been opened should be used in 3-4 weeks.
