The Briel company was established in 1978 and introduced Briel espresso machines in 1982. It
now produces several lines of espresso machines.
The Briel Domus Due costs about $390-440. Features include:
1. Stainless steel housing with chrome front panel
2. Can be used with ground coffee or coffee pods
3. Easy to read gauge that shows the pump pressure
4. Steamer/frother
5. Removable tray
6. Aluminum filter holder
7. Water level indicator
The Briel Multi Pro Prestige machine costs about $520-600. It comes with a 10 cup coffee maker. Features
include:
1. Filter holder and filter basket for ground coffee and special filter holder for pods
2. The frother produces steam for cappuccino or latte
3. Two thermostats regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process for the pump
4. Removable 2.5 liter water container
5. Removable overflow tray
6. Two brass filter holders
The Briel Cadiz Auto espresso machine costs about $270-340. It features:
1. Stainless steel interior and stainless steel boiler
2. Ground coffee or coffee pods can be used
3. Frother produces thick milk froth for cappuccino or latte
4. Removable water container
