The Bodum shin bistro double wall coffee press keeps the coffee hot and fresh for almost two hours. A double wall technology is used to provide the insulation. The inner beaker is machine blown glass and the outer beaker is mouth blown glass, which together provides for excellent insulation and durability. Price is about $70.
The beaker is made of high-tech, heat resistant glass. It has a black stay cool rubber handle that is easy to grip. Replacement glass beakers are available. Capacity is 34 ounces or about 8 cups of coffee. The press is available in several colors.
Instructions for use:
1. Place pot on a dry, flat non slip surface.
2. For each 4 oz cup, put one rounded tablespoon of coarse ground coffee into the pot.
3. Pour almost boiling water into the pot and stir with a plastic spoon.
4. Place the plunger unit on top of the pot and turn the lid to close off the pour spout opening.
5. Let the coffee brew for 4 minutes.
6. Slowly press the plunger down the pot.
7. Turn the lid to open the pour spout.
8. Pour and enjoy your coffee.
