The Bodum New Kenya coffee press is easy to use. It extracts the essential oils out of ground coffee to make rich coffee. Several sizes are available:
1. 3 cup (12 oz) press costs about $20
2. 4 cup (16 oz) press costs about $25
3. 8 cup (34 oz) press costs about $30
4. 12 cup (48 oz) press costs about $40
The press is made of glass with a plastic frame. It has a double wall construction and is dishwasher safe. The plunger and 3 piece filter system are made of stainless steel. The lid is plastic.
To make coffee is easy. In the glass carafe put one spoon of coarse ground coffee for every four ounces of brewed coffee you want to make. Add nearly boiling water and stir with a spoon. Place the filter plunger unit in the top. After 4 minutes of brewing, slowly press down the plunger. Your coffee is ready to enjoy.
